## (July 2012) ## To all Twenty Twelve fans who have arrived here from the BBC website: firstly “hello” and secondly yes, I am an amateur blogger but please don’t click away just yet. Please let me quickly explain why you have been sent here in the first place, and then feel free to leave (I’m not trying to sell you anything, honest).
You’ve been directed to my site because back in April I took the photos below and made a reference to Twenty Twelve in my blog (also below) which you as a faithful fan of the series will understand why. The Beeb’s social network arm Buzz by chance picked up on this and added my link to the page you’ve just come from. I do understand if you want to click off again but if you are slightly curious, I am a Londoner struggling to get around town at the moment for obvious reasons and I blog & tweet about the more humorous side of the preparations I see about the city, of London in general (have you seen any BTArtBoxes yet? They’re bizarrely brilliant), and the odd amusing tale from my travels in Europe. There are no ads here and I’m not trying to sell you anything, but I’d be honoured if you had a quick look at some of my other blogs (the writing and photos do get better). If however you are hovering on the back arrow, then I bid you farewell. Enjoy the rest of the series. TLT x
I passed a branch of a well known photography shop in Central London today who, to my utter glee had dressed their window in preparation for this Summer’s Jubilee and Olympic Games.
The fact however that the display area in the window was slightly limited did not deter this branch from deciding which event would take precedence. Why have two separate displays fighting for attention, when you can combine them into one great big one:
… or maybe the manager has been watching Twenty Twelve on BBC2 recently.
Remembering the 1908 London Olympics (and hoping to catch a glimpse of One Show presenters Alex Jones and Matt Baker in the process)
